Creating an Internet Startup in International Environment

This master thesis deals with an online startup project Tigeroy.ru, which I founded from a reason to make alternative education in real life more popular and easier to find on Russian market during 2012. The team behind the project has already spent some time with development of the application and it is now faced up to a question what to do with the startup. In the thesis, I focus on the product development from the initial idea to the current situation. I analyse all the mistakes which we have made until now and offer further steps and a plan how to continue in developing the project in future. As the result of the thesis, there is also a proposal of a business plan which is created for the purpose of informing a potential investor about the project.

The theme of this bachelor's thesis is the verification of a product viability on the IT solution market. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on explanation of the Lean Startup methodology along with the description of the tools that are used in the practical part of the thesis. At the beginning of the practical section is specified the initial Lean Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas. Based on the initial Lean Canvas an experiment and a hypothesis is defined. The hypothesis is tested and validated by qualitative research. The output of the thesis is a proposal of a suitable marketing strategy for launching a new product to market.

This thesis aims on creating a business plan based on methods verified by practices as well as using modern agile principles. The business plan is oriented towards an effective management support for house unit owners associations, housing cooperatives and selected business subjects. The objective of this work is creating a business plan and prototype of product for newly established start-up company using helpdesk application for managing inquiries and solving problems of clients. First part of this thesis summarizes fundamental problems, issues and terms connected to this thesis. Second part introduces business plan for Start-up Company, and third part focuses on creating prototype of helpdesk application used to realize the business plan in practice.

Application of the Lean Startup method and MMSP methodology to the web software development

Diploma thesis Application of the Lean Startup method and MMSP methodology to the web software development deals with creating a new model called Lean Startup for software development. The new model enables new software startups to gain advantage of the Lean Startup approach, yet in the same time proceed in accordance to a specific software development methodology, namely the MMSP methodology. The theoretical part characterizes the Lean Startup method and its principal ideas, as well as it propounds a new graphic model organizing these respective ideas. The thesis next describes further contributions to the Lean Startup movement, such as the Lean Canvas technique. It also examines previous utilization of these concepts in the context of newly growing businesses. Follows an analysis of the contemporary research papers covering the Lean Startup topic, as well as an overview ot the utilization of the said method within new software development startups. In conclusion of the theoretical part, a short summary of current software development methodologies is being made, as is a brief characteristics of the MMSP methodology. The practical part describes the establishment of an integrated model called Lean Startup for software development. The model is founded mainly on the software development management according to the MMSP methodology, which is accomodated to the basic Lean Startup concept, implying creation of a Minimal viable product and its subsequent incremental improvements based mainly on the evaluation of the new features via measured customer feedback. In order to complete the creation of the model in question, some expansions and changes of the MMSP methodology had to be made. These changes mainly concern the methodology development lifecycle, its roles, tasks and work products. The key ideas of the change were most importantly the implementation of customer feedback acquisition management, as well as the user experience management. The effects of this implementation include creation of new roles Innovative accounting coordinator and UX designer, corresponding tasks Innovation accounting management and User experience management as well as the introduction of the work products related to these tasks.

Business model of a startup and implementation of its solutions

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose a solution for expansion and monetizing project called Non La. It is a project, that is teaching interested how to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes. The solution will be presented via a business plan and financial plan. The theory part of the bachelor thesis is explaning what is a business plan, financial plan, lean startup approach, marketing on internet, social network, CPM and PPC campaign on Facebook, because they will the main marketing tool for the project. As for the practice part, it will consist of a business plan, financial plan and IT solutions. At the end of the work, there will be a chapter refering to the contribution of the thesis, whether it reached its goals.

On the one hand, thesis can be a useful source of information for those who want to deepen their theoretical knowledge of how start- ups actually work or on the other hand serve as a tool for all those entrepreneurs who wish to establish a successful and profitable company. The theoretical part will mainly focus on Customer Development, Agile Development and Business Mocel Canvas. In the practical part, I am going to examine a Czech startup called Vehiklo by conducting qualitative case study which has been chosen as a research instrument.

This thesis objectively assess the economic viability of the newly established startup that aims to become the leading expert on the domestic market in the field of consulting cryptocurrency issues. The aim of this work is to build a business plan, which also includes marketing research, together with the financial plan. An introductory part contains of theoretical framework of the cryptocurrency issues with an analysis of the economic impact on the Czech market. The theoretical part of the thesis is enriched with the necessary methodological basics for writing the business plan. In the practical part of this thesis is to find a business plan aimed at assessing the business model of the startup conducting the methods for the analysis of demand and by analyzing of market potential.

Lean Start Up for product SweetBox

This Bachelors Thesis (BT) aims to purpose a guide for the continuous development of the product SweetBox, applying Lean StartUp approach and Operations Management tools. The motivation of this BT development of a start up company, with little investments and resources in possession. To fulfil the aim, a guide for Lean StartUp development is constructed. This BT is built upon usage of Lean StartUp cycle methodology, through preparation of hypothesis and cycles. Each cycle has hypothesis and knowledge to help create and alter the product. By iteration, after three cycles, a primary guide is proposed. This BT evidences the viability of Lean StartUp model. The obtained knowledge facilitates the presentation of the final product version. Interviewers were successfully transformed from non-buyers to buyers and eventual sales figures stabilized. The methodology is recent, introduced in 2011 year. This kind of method for company and product development was originated and mainly applied in Information Technology firms. The BT contributes to the body of knowledge, evidencing that the methodology works and feasible to apply. This BT demonstrates the application of this method in the product producing companies.
